My dead bolt lock on the entrance door wasn't locking correctly. You had to really turn it just to lock and unlock it. It ... had a lot of play on the turn lock/release handle. I put in a work order and it was taken care of within 2 hours while I was out at a doctor's appointment. Great work by the staff in a timely manner. An excellent property which is going to be a cornerstone of this vibrant community. Awesome arboretum up the road and super ... convenient to downtown workers being right on the tracks. They should be finishing up in December, so it's kind of a mess right now on one wing of the building but it's going to be top notch. I just leased a 2 bedroom and they are going fast if you want to not wait until December! I'll follow up once we move in and they are finished but the service and friendliness has been altogether some of the best and the property will be one of the nicest I've seen in the area for miles. Update: As nice as the property is, the service sucksand I withdrew from the signing of the lease because they failed to work with us on parking. They require you to pay a large amount for parking on all vehicles and they have no other parking, so you are forced to. I argued this based on amenities not being available for months and construction going on as a type of concession to put up with that and they were unwilling. Well, somebody else can enjoy living in a construction zone then with no amenities and I'll find another place with a more relaxed parking situation. Wow! Looking for your dream spot? Look no further. I would like to comment directly on the expert staff they have working ... in the leasing office. My fiancé, our dog and I were given a tour by Sydney. She was so helpful in the leasing process, introduced us to some of the other staff members, and most importantly, the maintenance team. The maintenance team has been outstanding anytime an issue has come up; big or small. Our place came highly recommended and definitely didnt dissappoint. The location alone sells the property! It’s so easyto get to the metra or to walk to get a bite to eat. The on-property clubhouse/gym/pool is also such a luxury. My son and I moved into Marq On Main in the beginning of May and have enjoyed every minute of being here. From the start ... the leasing office staff (Kim, Sydney and Amanda) have gone above and beyond to help us from walking us through the application process to being always available and quick to help with any questions/issues that we have had. The maintenance staff (Marco and his crew) are extremely helpful, polite and always ready to resolve anything you may need. The buildings and amenities are great and make you want to show off all it has to offer to your family and friends. Being the first apartment and/or apartment complex I have ever lived in this one certainly would be difficult to top. Anyone looking for an apartment should strongly consider Marq On Main for its great buildings and floor plans, location, amenities and certainly for the people who make it work so well. And congratulations to Nick Ryan (Owner/Developer of Marq On Main) for creating a unique and wonderful addition to Lisle’s downtown community.
